Forwarder's tools

Work out trailer space and plan the delivery date

Two tools our forwarders use for every quote. You can move the result to your request with one click.

LTL calculator

How much space will your load take?

Enter your pallets and we will show how they fit on a 13.6 m trailer and how many loading metres (LDM) they take. That decides whether you pay for a part load or whether a full truck makes more sense.

Your load on the trailer

1 LDM is 1 metre of trailer length at 2.4 m width. A EUR pallet takes 0.4 LDM. We stack pallets up to a combined height of 265 cm. For heavy loads the carrier may price by weight instead.

    Delivery planner

    When will the goods arrive?

Choose the route and the loading day. The planner takes into account weekend and holiday driving bans in every country on the way and seasonal restrictions in Romania.

    Journey plan

        Move to my request

The planner is indicative. It assumes a single driver covering about 600 km a day with breaks under Regulation (EC) 561/2006, and the driving bans for vehicles over 7.5 t (12 t in Poland). We confirm the exact date in the quote.

        Which way we drive

One road to Bucharest, two options through the Carpathians

        Standard

        Via Sibiu and Valea Oltului

        Nădlac → A1 Arad → Deva → Sibiu → DN7 → Pitești → A1 → Bucharest

The shortest option. Until mid-November 2026 we drive the DN7 section after 17:30.

        Detour

        Via Brașov

        Borș → Cluj → Târgu Mureș → Brașov → DN1 → Ploiești → Bucharest

Longer, but without the daytime ban. We use it when the delivery has to be in the morning.

        Regions

Where we deliver in the Bucharest region

Most warehouses are outside the city limits, along the ring road and the motorways. That keeps trucks out of city-centre traffic.

        West, by the A1

        Chitila, Bolintin, Ciorogârla

The largest cluster of logistics warehouses. Easy access straight off the A1 motorway.

        North, by the DN1

        Otopeni, Ștefăneștii de Jos

Warehouses near the airport and the ring road, deliveries for retail and e-commerce.

        East, by the A2

        Pantelimon, Cernica

Industrial zones on the road to Constanța, good for loads going on to the port.

        As of October 2026

Rules on the route to Bucharest

As of October 2026. We follow changes as they happen and build them into the route plan.

        FROM 1.10.2026 · ROMANIA

TollRO replaces the rovinieta for trucks

Vehicles over 3.5 t now pay for every kilometre driven on Romanian motorways, expressways and national roads. For a 40 t Euro VI combination that is 0.48 lei/km on the motorway and 0.24 lei/km on a national road. The toll is included in our price.

        UNTIL 15.11.2026 · DN7 VALEA OLTULUI

Daytime closure for trucks on Valea Oltului

On the Călimănești - Câineni section, vehicles over 7.5 t may not drive Monday to Saturday between 8:00 and 17:30. This is the main road from Sibiu to Pitești and Bucharest, so we plan the passage for the evening or detour via Brașov.

        FROM 1.01.2025 · SCHENGEN

No permanent checks when entering Romania

Romania is a full Schengen member, land borders included. At the Nădlac and Borș crossings trucks no longer queue for border checks. Random roadside checks can still happen.

        2026 · POLAND, HUNGARY

Higher road tolls along the way

        • Hungary: HU-GO increases in January and March 2026, and truck transit directed onto motorways.
        • Poland: new e-TOLL rates and a longer tolled network from February 2026.

        FAQ

Questions about the Poland - Bucharest route

How long does transport from Poland to Bucharest take?
A full truck takes 3 days from loading. From Katowice it is approx. 1,250 km, from Warsaw approx. 1,400 km.
Which way do you drive to Bucharest?
Through Slovakia and Hungary to the Nădlac crossing, then on the A1 motorway to Sibiu, along the DN7 through Valea Oltului and on the A1 again from Pitești.
Will the works on Valea Oltului delay my delivery?
Until 15.11.2026 trucks over 7.5 t may not drive on the DN7 between Călimănești and Câineni from 8:00 to 17:30, Monday to Saturday. We plan the passage for the evening or detour via Brașov, so the delivery date we give already includes that margin.
Do you drive into central Bucharest?
Yes, but for shops and offices in the centre it is worth ordering a smaller vehicle or unloading with a tail lift. Tell us about the access in your request.
Can you deliver to a warehouse in Ilfov with a booking?
Yes. Give us the booking number and the unloading slot, and the carrier will adjust the departure time.
Who pays the road tolls in Romania?
We do. The TollRO per-kilometre toll, which replaced the rovinieta for trucks on 1.10.2026, is included in the price.
